Questions and answers

Questions about Bonsite

Bonsite builds a small website from your description and a reference, gives you a link and lets you change the page with words. Here is what that means in practice, and what is not there yet.

The site you get

What exactly will I get?

One page for one offer: a product, a service or a launch. It has its own link, your heading, text and photos, and one clear next step for the visitor, such as a button that leads to your shop or your messenger.

The page is made for a phone as much as for a desktop. Check it on yours before you share the link.

Is a one-page site a complete website?

Yes. A landing page does not need a checkout or a blog to do its job: show what you offer and lead the visitor to the next step. Blogs, multi-page sites, carts and catalogs are not part of the first version.

Do I need an existing website?

No. A reference, a link or an image you like, conveys mood and composition. It does not replace the facts about your product; those come from you.

In what language can the site be?

In the language you write in. The app itself is in English for now; this site is in English, Ukrainian and Russian.

How it works today

What can I do in the app right now?

Create an account, start a site from one of our templates in a style you choose, and change it in a conversation: the text, the photos, the sections.

Building a site from a description alone is planned and not connected yet. Where a step is not ready, the app says so beside the field.

What happens to what I type on the home page?

It stays in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and no site is generated from it. Copy your text, open the app and start the conversation there.

How do I publish and share the site?

A published site gets its own link on a Bonsite address, which you can share. Connecting your own domain is planned and not available yet.

Can I undo a change I do not like?

Version history and a one-step undo for an unsuccessful edit are part of the first version and are not ready yet. Until then, review the result before you publish.

Sales, visitors and data

Can I take payments on the site?

Not on the page itself. The first version works with a button that leads to your existing shop, payment page or messenger. Built-in payments and order processing are a separate step and are not promised.

What about enquiries, leads and a CRM?

Enquiries go to the channel you already use: a button to your messenger, email or phone. A built-in CRM, lead collection and qualification, and booking calendars are not part of the first version.

Will the site be found in search?

We aim for the basics search engines need: real text on the page, meaningful headings, a title and a description, and a layout that works on a phone. That is a foundation, not a guarantee of traffic or positions.

What about a privacy policy for my site?

A privacy page has to describe your real business and how you handle data; a generic text does not make a site compliant. Bonsite's own privacy policy and terms are being prepared; the footer links lead to them.

What does it cost? Is there a free option?

Prices and trial terms are not published yet.

What Bonsite does not do yet

The first version is one page, one offer, one conversation. These are outside it, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise of them:

  • a chat with your visitors or answers to customers around the clock;
  • a CRM, lead collection and qualification, booking calendars;
  • a blog, a multi-page site, a shopping cart or a catalog;
  • automatic conversion optimization and mailings;
  • built-in payments and order processing.

Planned, not ready yet

  • building a site from a description alone;
  • your own domain for a published site;
  • version history and a one-step undo;
  • an export of the site with its files.

An existing website or installing a script are not required to start.
